Forum Theatre (ex Teatro Euclide) has a story as long as the story of the recording studios nearby.
The room, beneath the Basilica del Sacro Cuore, is perpendicularly oriented to the main aisle of the church and served the Parioli neighborhood as a movie theatre from the ‘50s.
The chairs of the narrow and long room of ‘Cinema Euclide’ hosted movie stars, directors and celebrities, sitting next to the inhabitants of the neighborhood, enjoying masterpieces that often had Forum Studios in the soundtrack credits.
Among others Alberto Sordi – good friend of the studios and of one of the Founding Maestros, Piero Piccioni – which chose the theatre foyer and its monumental liberty stile double stairs to stage the iconic ‘phone call at the movies’ scene of his ‘Il Medico della Mutua’, directed by Luigi Zampa with Alberto Sordi playing the mighty Dr. Tersilli – with Piero Piccioni soundtrack entirely recorded in Studio A.

In 1990 the movie theatre turned into drama and spoken theatre: renamed “Teatro Euclide”, the stage hosted shows for thirty years and became one of the most important theatres of the neighborhood.

In 2020, at the end of the theatres activity and right after a management change, the building with two monumental foyers and a main room of two-hundred seats, changed its name to ‘Forum Theatre’. It becomes part of the big Forum Studios project after a huge updating of technologies and building structures, serving the studios as additional recording room (together with Studio A and Studio Master), TV and live streaming studio, live concerts room with a dedicated international art direction, corporate events venue, top class cocktail bar and multimedia immersive theatre: with full-ranging live projections running through every wall of the rooms, and an ultimate generation audio system.

Today, the Forum Theatre is a high class multifunctional environment, able to serve every production: from acting theatre and concerts, to corporate events and TV productions; it can satisfy any production need, a few kilometers from the Eternal City historical heart, easy to reach from the main highways, with private parking spots and richly served by the exclusive accommodation facilities of the Parioli neighborhood.
